How does Huck respond to Miss Watson's admonitions to pray? What does this tell us about Huck?

Huck at first tries to pray for real objects, but then he gets upset when he doesn't get them.  Huck doesn't truly understand the point of praying even after Miss Watson tries to explain it is for his spirituality.  I believe that this is a part of Huck's character and the way he was raised.  Huck was forced to fend for himself, so he has grown up as a practical kid.  Huck doesn't understand the practicality of praying for his spirit.  Huck has little faith in God and doesn't appear to care about going to heaven or hell so his feelings on praying make sense.
